A scatterplot map displays information with two variables. Each set of information is displayed as a dot on the graph. This graph is a scatter plot graph with the two variables of a wife's age an her husband's age. link

An index value plot map is a type of visualization map. It is when a line graph has an index value plotted on it This shows the precipitation in North Carolina for January, February, and March. link

Bilateral graph

A bilateral graph shows both positive and negative data. It shows information that has gone up in one thing and down in another. link

Nominal area choropleth map

Nominal area choropleth map displays information based on divisions that are already set, such as county lines. This map is divided by county lines and displays the access to safe drinking water. link
